New York City Marathon 2024!
New York here I come!
This time I am coming for the 2024 New York City Marathon! I’m not just coming for the marathon though- I am running in the marathon!!!!
That’s right! I am going to run the New York City Marathon!
I am beyond excited about this!
Running a marathon has been on my bucket list for a long time. The furthest I have ever run has been for half marathon races.
I am running the marathon on a charity bib – Team in Training.
If you have never heard of Team in Training, it is a charity that is not only important to me, it is personal to me.
They are a charity that raises funds through various activities. The funds they raise go directly to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) to find a cure for blood cancers.
100% of the donations I raise for the New York City Marathon, will go completely to LLS to help fund the research needed to find a cure for blood cancer.
Having been diagnosed in 2021 with Leukemia, this is a very important cause for me. There is currently no cure for my Leukemia – only treatments.
